The 2018 vintage was one of the most challenging year Burgundy experienced over the last 2 decades, with very little if not, none existing rainfall between April and September. Despite such dry conditions, the commitment of the biodynamic viticulture as well as the conservation of the old vines have contributed to an exceptional vintage for Prieure Roch which was described by the long service guardian of the domaine, Mr Yannick CHAMP as a “Millesime Singulier” a singular vintage in which each wines have a profound sense of terroir.
